Echinacoside is a phenylethanoid glycoside isolated from Echinacea angustifolia in 1950, and currently being investigated for the treatment of Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, atherosclerosis, osteoporosis, acute colitis, wound treatment, and hepatitis.A184577 Echinacoside has demonstrated inhibition of apoptosis in neural cell lines, demonstrating potential for use in the treatment of neurological conditions.A184592
